- Frank and Harry get into their car and start to head home frank drops off Harry and continues on.
- Frank enters his bedroom and proceeds to get the case profile out and spread it on his bed, he looks at the photographs and documents for a while. All of the sudden he looks up and goes into a trance, scenes of the murder flash before him and the he shakes his head, he proceeds to keep looking at the profile. The camera pans over to a clock with 2:00am or so on it and fades to the clock that now says 4:00am or so.
- The phone rings, its frank he says that they need to get down to the office for a last inspection before the company opens and the room gets occupied. Harry scrambles to get out the door and finally leaves.
- At the office there is still yellow tape across the door. Harry and frank enter, they take out a black light and start searching the room, they come up with nothing. Frank says--- nothing, there's just nothing here. He then looks at his watch and says--- looks like we better get out of here, its almost time to open. The two leave.
- Jerry is at his kitchen table when there is a knock at the door. It’s a police officer he tells jerry that this is a routine inspection that all employees are going through. They proceed to sit down.
- Cop--- I just have a few questions. Jerry--- ok, shoot. Cop--- what was your relationship with Robert Harris? Jerry--- he was one of my higher-ups. Cop--- ok and how long have you worked at Plasiocorp? Jerry--- about a month. Cop--- ok, so did you know Robert very well, any, previous engagements? Jerry thinks for a moment and says no. The cop says that will be all thanks for your cooperation and sorry for the intrusion. Jerry closes the door and has a faint smile.
- Frank and Harry are at an office and frank says ok lets here the run down. Harry--- ok, the crime was committed after everyone had gone home, there aren’t any DNA or fingerprints at the crime scene and no one witnessed it, whoever did this was an expert or watched too much TV. Either way we’ve got nothing. Frank--- we have Andy’s little I didn’t do it and no one else is talking, there has to be something we missed.
- Harry is now at home he still is looking at the profile, he then sees a list of all recent employees over the last six months, he then picks up a copy of all the people that were convicted under rob from the firm, after looking he finds his match, jerry Thorg--- says Harry.
- Harry runs to get to the phone, he calls frank. Harry--- frank, i've got another match, one of the guys rob convicted at the firm was an employee at Plasiocorp I’ve got his address so I’ll check it out tomorrow, I think we might have something.
- A car pulls up in front of jerry’s house Harry gets out and knocks on the door. Jerry answers. Jerry--- can I help you? Harry--- are you jerry Thorg? Jerry- who wants to know? Harry holds up his badge--- Oakfield police, special agent Jackson I need to ask you a few questions. Jerry opens the door and Harry walks in.
- Jerry--- can I get you something to drink? Harry--- no thank you, so did you know rob? Jerry--- yes, well, sorta, he had just employed me at the company. Harry did you know him when he was a layer? Completely taken back jerry says--- I knew he was a layer at one time, yes. Harry--- did you ever get into any trouble with the law? Jerry again dumbfounded says--- yes just a minor charge. Harry what was that charge? Jerry--- I stole a car. Harry—that’s grand theft auto, you get any time? Jerry--- yes a few months. Harry hands him a business card and says--- we’d like you to come into the precinct on this date. He writes on the paper. Jerry nods his head and goes to let Harry out.
- Jerry is leaving his house and gets into his car and pulls out he picks up the card and continues.
- Jerry pulls into the parking lot and gets out he precedes into the precinct. A man greets him jerry shows him the card and the man points him down a hall.
- Jerry enters a room with a table and chairs following closely are Harry and frank. Frank introduces himself and sits. Frank--- I understand you are involved in the murder of rob Harris. Jerry--- me? I herd on the news you had a prime suspect. Frank--- yes we do have a prime suspect but there’s room for more. Harry--- we have a few questions we want answered. Ok, where were you about 9:30 Friday night? Jerry--- I was at home, I get out at 7:30. Frank--- so you left on time? Jerry--- yes. Harry--- we have a record of all the court cases rob represented the town on, your name was on there. Jerry--- yea, just for stealing that car. Frank--- we’ve got you on here twice. Frank shows jerry a piece of paper. Frank--- the second time for assault. Seems like your crimes are getting worse. Jerry--- so what of it? Frank--- that tells us that you could progress into a dangerous man. Jerry--- I did my time and was on parole, I’m fine. Harry--- we don’t think so; we think that you might have been there and that you killed him. Jerry--- this is whacked. Frank--- we’re going to set up a court date you are to be here a week from now at this time. Jerry gets up gives each a dirty look and exits.
Text shows one week later. Jerry is in a court room, he sits next to his layer, James Shapirron, he shakes his hand and the judge says--- order, case of City vs. Thorg defense may make an opening statement. James--- my client, Mr. Thorg, was never at the crime during the time of the murder he punched out at 7:30 and went straight home, he never had any reason to commit such a crime, and these accusations against my client are mere leads to go on. Judge thank you Mr. Shapirron. Mr. Desmond. Frank--- Jerry Thorg is a convicted criminal and was sentenced by Robert Harris prior to this. He became an employee at Plasiocorp just a month ago his crimes were grand theft auto and battery, as you can see his crimes got worse as he went on, it is the city’s belief that Mr. Thorg had a motive and acted upon it. Judge--- thank you Mr. Desmond. It is my decision that based on the lack of evidence that Mr. Thorg did not commit the crime he is being accused of. Jerry walks out with a smug look and Harry and frank just sit there.
